Process Design for FEED & Detailed Engineering

Extensive experience in detailed engineering development for a variety of process technologies and clients. InSite’s process design has provided multiple technical solutions that have ensured successful project execution aligned with project goals, timelines, and budgets.

  • Process flow diagram (PFD) and piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) development
  • Process calculations, e.g. pump hydraulics, control valve sizing, pipeline hydraulics, and more
  • Process control system specifications, including control narratives and instrumentation requirements
  • Relief system specification and design in accordance with API 520/521
  • Equipment sizing and specification, such as heat exchangers, pumps, and reactors
  • Attendance of project design and safety reviews (HAZID, HAZOP & LOPA)

Standalone Process Studies

  • Relief system studies, including review of existing systems with supporting calculations
  • Hazardous area assessment and calculation in accordance with EI 15 and IEC 60079-10
  • Hydraulic assessment of jetties and pipelines

Refinery & Operational Expertise
