- Electrical System Design
Design and specification of electrical systems from low voltage to 11kV, including small power, lighting, earthing, and distribution networks—developed in accordance with industry standards including BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations). - Equipment Specification
Technical specification and selection of motors, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and battery systems—tailored to project needs and operating environments. - Power System Studies
Comprehensive analysis using ETAP, including:- Load flow and short circuit studies
- Arc flash assessments
- Protection coordination and selectivity studies
- Motor starting and harmonic analysis
- Cable Sizing & Calculations
Accurate cable sizing, voltage drop, and thermal calculations using ElectricalOM, with consideration for protective device coordination and disconnection time compliance as required under BS 7671 and project safety criteria. - Hazardous Area Design
Electrical design and equipment selection in accordance with IEC 60079 and ATEX directives for use in explosive atmospheres, including hazardous area classification, zoning, and appropriate protection methods. - Detailed Engineering Deliverables
Production of high-quality design documentation including:- Single line diagrams
- Cable routing and containment layouts
- Load schedules, cable schedules, and lighting/lux level designs
- Earthing and bonding layouts
- Testing & Commissioning Support
Support for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning—ensuring systems are installed safely, function as intended, and meet all applicable standards.
