This included navigating planning permission, environmental permitting under IPCC, COMAH (Seveso) requirements, and hazardous substance consent. InSite also provided advice on Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements to support ongoing compliance.

The team conducted a thorough review of environmental impacts, including noise, ecology, lighting, air emissions, water discharges, visual landscape, traffic, and hazardous waste. Safety considerations such as QRA, PHA, hazardous substances, and dispersion modelling were also assessed. InSite managed engagement with statutory bodies throughout the process to ensure a clear and achievable route to construction and operational consent.
